Consell de Cent
Barcelona (Barcelonès)

Refurbishment of a 100m² apartment in Barcelona, where work was done to achieve a flexible and open-spaced house, able to be adapted easily to a young couple’s different needs. The new program converges around an unmovable center module that contains the bathroom, the kitchen and a dressing room, leaving the remaining free space to be managed due to own taste. The suspended cane and plaster ceiling has been removed in order to rediscover the original architecture, retrieving the wooden beams and the catalan vault as a measure that allowed us to gain height and atmospheric warmth.

Collaboration: Arnaldo Basadonna (architect)
