Vitralls. La llum de la Catedral de Girona
Girona Art Museum, Girona (Gironès)
Temporary exhibition that displays a collection of 14th century stained glass from the Cathedral of Girona, aiming to show the technique of this art and learn more closely about the glassmakers of the time. Each of the stained glass windows has been treated separately, framing them in a backlit box and arranging them linearly on the walls of a dark room. The scarce room light and the dark gray colour of the walls emphasize the presence of the windows that shine intensely as if they were floating paintings, forming a sober set, elegant and slightly enigmatic.
