Archdeacon’s House
Girona (Gironès)

Reform of a 190m² duplex, which was an old palace of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The reform is planned with the purpose of creating an open space. A practical and versatile container, suitable to be transformed according to the needs of the moment. We’d like to underline the recovery of the original stone walls and the structural work in the attic that have enabled us, with an operative and elegant solution, to remove the existing internal partitions and achieve a great wide room.

Collaboration: Arnaldo Basadonna (architect) and Josep Gabarró (architect)
